“This is an address not only to the parliament, but to the international community” – Akmal Saidov

At the session of the International Press Club, the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Akmal Saidov spoke about the formation of a mechanism to address to the Parliament.
“An address to the Parliament is an important event. Uzbekistan also has its own experience of addressing to the parliament.
The live broadcast has allowed citizens to watch the presidential address simultaneously both at home and abroad,” Akmal Saidov said.
According to him, Uzbekistan has developed its own experience by studying the mechanisms of online parliamentary addresses. Therefore, yesterday’s appeal can be regarded not only as an address to the parliament, but also to the people of Uzbekistan and the world community.
“If the previous addresses were expressed in a year-long manner, the 2020 address to the Parliament covered the ideas that lay the foundation for Uzbekistan’s short-term development,” Akmal Saidov said.
