50-year-old doctor beaten in Namangan

In the Chust district of Namangan region, a 22-year-old man got into a verbal skirmish with a 50-year-old head of the clinic’s department and beat him.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on February 6, a 22-year-old man visited the family clinic No. 46 of the Chust district. Neglecting the rules of behavior in public places, he got into a verbal skirmish with the 50-year-old head of the clinic’s department. As a result, he injured the doctor’s nose, beating several times on the face.

On the above fact, the investigation department of the Chust district initiated a criminal case against the man under Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.

A preliminary investigation is currently underway.
