Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General Aziz Ikramov, has been appointed to a new position.
He will serve as Deputy Minister for Mahalla and Family Affairs, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
He will work in two positions simultaneously.
In November 2019, Aziz Ikramov resigned as Deputy Defense Minister and was appointed Deputy Minister of MIA.
Earlier on February 18, deputies considered and approved the candidacy of Rahmat Mamatov, Chairman of the Mahalla Charity Foundation, for the post of the Minister for Mahalla and Family Affairs.
