College teachers in Andijan detained while taking $500 in bribe 

As the Prosecutor General’s Office reported, teachers promised to issue a diploma for students, who do not attend the college. Also, a university secretary offered the position of a deputy dean.

The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office presented information on recent crimes identified by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes.

In Andijan, college teachers were detained upon receipt of $500 in bribe. 

Teachers of the Andijan Professional College of Consumer Services No.2 and Andijan College of Social Economics and Pedagogy G. A. and Z. Q. promised citizen M. that he may receive a college diploma without attending the classes. The offenders were detained with physical evidence at the time of receiving $500 in bribe.

A criminal case has been initiated against G. A. and Z. Q.

The operative event was organized by the Andijan city Department in cooperation with the SSS officers.

In Namangan, a secretary of the university was detained while receiving $200 in bribe.

Citizen S. E., who works as a secretary at the Namangan State University, gained the trust of citizen N. A. and promised him that he would be employed as a deputy dean in the university. She was arrested with material evidence while receiving $200 and 1.9 million soums in bribe.

A criminal case was opened against S. E.
