The violations were identified during reviews of procurement processes conducted by several state institutions and organizations, the agency said.
The largest case involved the Directorate for the Operation of Buildings and Construction and Repair Works, where violations were identified in procurement worth UZS 1.74 billion. Other major cases included the Bekabad Catering Plant, with UZS 1.6 billion in procurement, and the Uchkurgan District Medical Association, with UZS 1.55 billion.
The agency also identified violations in procurement worth UZS 1.43 billion by the Uchkurgan Specialized State Boarding School for Volleyball Sports, UZS 824 million by the Urgench City Medical Association, and UZS 790.5 million by the Surkhandarya Regional Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center.
Further violations were found in procurement worth UZS 700 million by the Piskent district administration, UZS 241.5 million by the Department of Preschool and School Education of Yangibazar district, UZS 238.5 million by the Navoi City Improvement Department, and UZS 202.9 million by the Yangibazar district Department of Preschool and School Education.
According to the agency, the procurement procedures involved violations of sector-specific legal requirements during the evaluation process, as well as measures that restricted competition between participants.
Following the findings, the agency issued submissions that resulted in the cancellation of procurement commission protocols naming winners. This prevented the affected procurements from proceeding in violation of the law, the agency said.
Documents collected during the reviews and analysis have been sent to law enforcement authorities for appropriate legal action.
