Tashkent Transport University to be established

The draft presidential resolution “On measures to radically improve the system of personnel training in the transport sector” has been published for discussion.

The proposal of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and Uzbekistan Railways JSC to establish the Tashkent Transport University on the basis of the Tashkent Institute of Railway Transport Engineers, the Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction & Maintenance of Automotive Roads and the Tashkent State Technical University may be approved.

It is determined that the University will be the main higher education institution for training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for the transport sector.
