Amount of kindergarten fees to change from May 1, 2020 

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the amount of kindergarten term fees in the state preschool educational institutions for 2020” has been adopted.

The document has approved the amount of term fee in the state preschool educational institutions for 2020.

As can be seen, if one child attends a preschool education institution from a family in the city of Tashkent, the amount of fee ranges from 33,000 soums (4-5 hours) to 255,000 soums (24 hours). If more than one child from a family attends PEI, the fee will be around 23,000 soums (4-5 hours) and 182,000 soums (24 hours). In the regional centers, the cost is bit lower – from 31,000 soums to 243,000 soums and from 22,000 soums to 173,000 soums. These prices will apply from May 1, 2020.

The amount of the kindergarten fee in public preschool education institutions, located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, Tomdi, Uchkuduk, Konimekh, Nurota districts and the city of Zarafshan of Navoi region, Dekhkanabad, Kasbi, Mirishkor, Kamashi, Chirakchi, Nishan, Yakkabag and Guzar districts of Kashkadarya region, Alat, Shafirkan, Karakul, Peshku and Romitan districts of Bukhara region, Kizirik, Muzrabat, Altinsay, Baysun, Kumkurgan, Uzun, Sariasiya districts of Surkhandarya region, Nurabad, Kushrabat, Urgut, Bulungur and Pakhtachi districts of Samarkand region, Bakhmal, Gallaaral, Farish, Mirzaabad, Khavast and Sardoba districts of Syrdarya region, in the Sokh district, in the villages of Shokhimardon and Yordon of Fergana district (Fergana region) is set at 50 percent of the established rate.
