Sadbarkhon Mamitova appointed district khokim in Andijan region
Another woman has been appointed to the post of district khokim in Uzbekistan.
Today, March 4, a meeting of activists was held in the Buston district (former Buz district), Andijan region.
The event was attended by the regional khokim Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov and deputy presidential adviser Kakhramon Kuranbayev.
During the meeting, it was announced that the district’s khokim Inomjon Mamadaliyev has been dismissed from his post. He has been governing the district since August 2018.
As Kun.uz correspondent reports, Sadbarkhon Mamitova has been appointed new khokim of the district.

Sadbarhon Mamitova was born in 1966 in the Jalakuduk district, Andijan region. She graduated from the Tashkent State Agrarian University (in 1993).
She has worked in various managerial positions in the Jalakuduk district. From 2007 to 2008, she was deputy khokim of the district – acting chairperson of the district Women’s Committee. Since 2019, she has been working as head of the regional department of “Yuksalish” nationwide movement in Andijan. In December 2019, she was elected deputy of the Andijan regional council of people’s deputies.
