Mail Service of Uzbekistan notifies about delays in parcel delivery due to coronavirus
Mail Service of Uzbekistan (O’zbekiston Pochtasi) warned that due to the outbreak of a new type of coronavirus, there are delays in the delivery of parcels from China.
“In recent days, due to the spread of COVID-19, the delivery of mails from China has been delayed. These delays were mainly associated with the temporary suspension of flights from China,” the company reported.
They assured that the post offices will make every effort to deliver parcels as soon as possible.
According to the World Health Organization, coronavirus does not persist for a long time on the surface of objects, including parcels.
“Despite this, Mail Service of Uzbekistan took all necessary measures for receiving and sanitary-epidemiological processing of mails from China,” the report says.
