Rospotrebnadzor supplies Uzbekistan with test systems for detecting coronavirus
Russia has transferred about 800 test systems to Uzbekistan, Iran, the PRC, Mongolia and other countries for the diagnosis of a new type of coronavirus, Rospotrebnadzor reports.
“The test systems developed by Rospotrebnadzor were transferred to the EAEU member countries, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, the PRC and Iran. In total, about 800 test systems were delivered, which will allow specialists to carry out 80,000 studies,” the report said.
So, in particular, due to the deterioration of the situation in Iran because of the spread of coronavirus infection, Rospotrebnadzor provided free of charge test systems for laboratory diagnosis of the virus in the amount of 500 sets for 50,000 studies.
It is noted that the test systems, developed by the Federal Budgetary Institution of Science “GNS VB Vektor” of Rospotrebnadzor, have already been delivered to 10 countries of the near and far abroad. With their help, cases of the disease were detected in the territory of Armenia and Belarus.
