Colonel Aziz Tashpulatov has been appointed head of the Tashkent city Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).

Prior to his appointment, Tashpulatov worked as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that Aziz Tashpulatov also worked as the head of the DIA of Samarkand and Namangan regions.
Earlier it was reported that the head of the Tashkent DIA, Major General Rustam Jurayev, was appointed commander of the National Guard of Uzbekistan.
