Resident of Margilan detained for storing 37 kg of drugs in his house
It turned out that the 53-year-old man also grew 13 cannabis bushes at home.

In the city of Margilan (Fergana region), a man was detained for storing a large amount of drugs in his apartment, the press service of the regional police department reported.
It is reported that on June 29 of this year, an operative event was carried out by DIA employees. With the participation of witnesses, the private house of citizen A.K., born in 1971, living in the city’s Tuyagum mahalla, was inspected.
It turned out that he grew 13 hemp bushes on his plot. Also, A.K. kept at home 12 kg 537 g of opium poppy, 2 kg 570 g of marijuana, 41 g of hashish and 22 kg 550 g of poppy straw. In fact, the relevant documents were drawn up.


An investigation is currently underway.
