“Nationwide education system providing for training the poor and the unemployed will be introduced” – Draft presidential decree
Government of Uzbekistan will take measures to attract the poor and the unemployed to entrepreneurship, increase their labor activity and vocational training.
The draft presidential decree “On measures to attract the poor and the unemployed to entrepreneurship, increase their labor activity and vocational training” has been published for public discussion.
According to the document, a nationwide system providing for vocational training for the poor and the unemployed will be introduced.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations within two months develops and approves the procedure for training the unemployed and the poor on the basis of the mechanism “vocational training centers” – “Welcome to work” monocenters.
The Ministry of Labor jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to organize vocational and Russian language trainings for Uzbek citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation, shall establish cooperation with the Russian People’s Friendship University (RUDN), the Agency for Development of Professional Communities and Skilled Workers (Worldskills Russia) and other educational and professional institutions.
