Billionaire Fattakh Shodiev to help Uzbekistan fight the spread of coronavirus in the country
The International Chodiev Foundation (ICF) joins the government’s fight against the spread of coronavirus by launching an extensive charity program to support vulnerable segments of the population.
“The first phase of support, carried out jointly with the Ministry of Justice, includes food and disinfectant supplies for older people and low-income families across the country,” UzA reported.
In addition, the representative office of the International Chodiev Foundation in Uzbekistan joins the calls of the government and the World Health Organization (WHO) to carefully implement recommendations for observing the necessary rules of conduct in a pandemic.
Recommendations in the Uzbek language will be included in the humanitarian aid kits.
The International Chodiev Foundation is an international charitable non-governmental organization. It was founded in 1996 by Fattakh Shodiev with the aim of supporting and developing the scientific, creative and cultural potential in Eastern Europe, Central and Southeast Asia.
In September 2017, the representative office of the International Chodiev Foundation in Uzbekistan was registered by the Ministry of Justice.
