Bahrom Almatov: There is a sufficient supply of medical protective tools in Uzbekistan
Reportedly, 1,000 overalls, goggles and more than 10,000 medical masks were delivered to each region of the republic.
According to the director of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing (ASEW) Bahrom Almatov, the country has an adequate supply of medical protective tools for healthcare workers.
“We have enough overalls for medical workers. The necessary stock was created in the republic. The issue of centralized security, whenever it is necessary, has already been considered,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted Almatov as saying.
According to him, about 1,000 overalls, goggles and more than 10,000 medical masks were delivered to each region of the republic.
Almatov assured that each region also has a sufficient supply of disinfectants.
“Citizens arriving from abroad were delivered to quarantine points in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent, Tashkent region, Bukhara, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Khorezm regions. They will be quarantined for 14 days. All medical personnel involved in quarantine zones are provided with the necessary protective tools,” the ASEW director Bahrom Almatov added.
