Coronavirus: 5 new cases reported in Uzbekistan

The number of people diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has increased by 5, making the total number 88.

According to the press service of the Health Ministry, two cases of infection were reported in the Fergana region, two in the Khorezm region and one in Tashkent.

It should be noted that today Uzbekistan registered the first coronavirus-related death. A 72-year-old woman, diagnosed with coronavirus and suffering from chronic diseases, died of a heart attack in Namangan.

Also, Chief State Sanitary Doctor Nurmat Otabekov noted that the health condition of 7 patients is assessed as critical.
