The city clinic of Andijan State Medical Institute, Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and Andijan Multidisciplinary Central Polyclinic have been immediately closed for a 14-day quarantine.
It was reported that in Andijan, members of one family – three people (husband and wife, as well as their daughter), were diagnosed with coronavirus.
According to the press service of the Andijan regional administration, the woman diagnosed with the disease visited the Osh city (Kyrgyzstan) on March 10-11, and her daughter also stayed in Osh on March 10-18. Later they returned to Andijan.
Coronavirus was detected in 3 members of one family as a result of a medical examination conducted after the woman’s husband was diagnosed with symptoms of the disease. Reportedly, they were taken to a special hospital, their health condition was satisfactory, and they were being treated separately.
“All the institutions that these patients visited to, that is, the city clinic of Andijan State Medical Institute, Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, Andijan Branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and Andijan Multidisciplinary Central Polyclinic, were immediately closed for a 14-day quarantine.
Relatives of the patients, acquaintances and the people who were in contact with them were also taken under special control,” the report said.
In connection with the quarantine of the Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, its activity was transferred to the Andijan city Children’s Hospital.
The activities of the city clinic of Andijan State Medical Institute and the Andijan branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care were transferred to the Andijan regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center.
During the quarantine, the service activities of the Andijan city Multidisciplinary Central Polyclinic were distributed to 8 other family polyclinics in Andijan.
