The National Chamber of Innovative Health has received nearly 4 thousand appeals from people who want to help fight the coronavirus voluntarily, the chamber’s press service reported.
Special Telegram channel “National Chamber COVID-19” (t.me/uzhealth_covid2019) was organized on March 27, and in 4 days, more than 3,500 volunteers sent their contact details expressing willingness to help in the fight against the spread of novel coronavirus.
Mainly, there are proposals from doctors to apply their experience and professionalism in the fight against coronavirus infection, but there are also volunteers from other professions, which make up about 10% of the total.
Specialists of the National Chamber compile lists of volunteers in the areas, including “doctors and laboratory technicians”, “paramedical staff”, “junior medical staff”, “others” and transmit these data to the Ministry of Health.
This partnership will allow us to quickly respond to requests from doctors and medical personnel from the regions, who can timely help patients infected with the coronavirus. As you know, in some regions of Uzbekistan, there is an urgent construction of hospitals intended for their treatment. The introduction of such hospitals is expected in the near future in the capital, Tashkent, Andijan, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions.
