Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov resigns as head of the Pension Fund
A personnel change has occurred in the system of the Ministry of Finance.
As Kun.uz correspondent reports, in accordance with a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the executive director of the off-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov has been relieved of his post.
It should be recalled that in September 2019, Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov was appointed executive director of the Fund.
From 2002 to 2016, Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov worked in the system of the Finance Ministry. In particular, in 2005-2007, he was the First Deputy Minister of Finance, in 2007-2016 – head of the Treasury.
In 2016-2018, he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation. In September 2018, he was appointed acting Board Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. In February of this year, he became Deputy Minister of Finance for social affairs.
Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov was born in 1969. He is a graduate of the Tashkent State University of Economics.
