“Measures are being taken to employ more than 163,000 people, who could not go abroad due to quarantine” – Ministry of Mahalla
Saodat Boymirzayeva, press secretary of the Ministry of Mahalla and Family Affairs, provided information about how to help citizens who were deprived of the chance to go abroad to work because of the quarantine regime.
“During the quarantine period, the minister and his deputies have been assigned to regions. They perform the function of targeted delivery of food products to socially vulnerable people, as well as control over prices in the markets.
During the quarantine period, special attention will be paid to citizens, who arrived in Uzbekistan after working abroad. The ministry has compiled a list of such citizens. Based on their specialization, work experience and qualifications gained abroad, the issue of employment will be carried out here.
Currently, targeted work is underway with 163,396 people, who could not go abroad due to quarantine. After the quarantine, appropriate measures will be taken to provide them with jobs,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted Boymirzayeva as saying.
