“120 are men, 143 – women and 13 – minors” – Health Ministry provides additional information about coronavirus patients 

According to the ministry, in the republic, the number of coronavirus infection cases stands at 263. Of these, 120 are men, 143 – women and 13 – minors.

The age classification of patients is as follows:

 0-9 years – 8 people;
 10-19 years – 10 people;
 20-29 years old – 51 people;
 30-39 years old – 63 people (1 person died;
 40-49 years old – 73 people;
 50-59 years – 40 people;
 60-69 years old – 13 people;
 70-79 years old – 5 people (1 person died).

So far, coronavirus infection has been detected in 102 citizens who have visited France (2), Turkey (45), Russia (46), England (5), the United Arab Emirates (2), Saudi Arabia (1) and Switzerland (1). 161 became infected with COVID-19 as they were in contact with them.

In addition, at present, 146 patients are being treated in medical institutions specialized in the treatment of infectious diseases in the city of Tashkent, 27 – in Fergana, 28 – in Namangan, 30 – in Andijan, 14 – in Bukhara, 13 – in Khorezm, 3 – in Kashkadarya and 2 – in Navoi.

“All patients undergo treatment in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, international experience and established standards. To date, 25 people have completely recovered from this disease,” the press service of the Health Ministry noted.

It should be recalled that the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with relevant ministries and departments, conducts an epidemiological investigation and takes all preventive measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus infection.
