Seven patients are in critical condition – Chief Sanitary Inspector
Seven patients diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan are in critical condition. This was reported by Chief Sanitary Inspector Nurmat Otabekov.
According to Nurmat Otabekov, 22 out of 85 patients treated at the clinic of the Virology Research Institute have symptoms of pneumonia. Four of the patients are in critical condition and one is in a relatively serious condition.
A total of 35 patients are being treated at the clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. One of them is in moderate condition, and one is in critical condition.
“Patients with a serious and very serious condition were transferred to intensive care,” said Nurmat Otabekov.
It is noted that more than 100 thousand citizens are under medical supervision in hospitals and at home.
As of April 5 morning, there are 298 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan. So far, 25 people have recovered from the disease and 2 have died.
