So far, a total of 61,666 people in Uzbekistan have been tested for the coronavirus.
As of 23:00 on April 7, a total of 61,666 people in Uzbekistan have been tested for the coronavirus. This was announced at a briefing by the head of the State Inspectorate for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Nurmat Otabekov.
It was reported that on April 7 alone, 5,800 laboratory tests were conducted across the country.
Earlier, it was reported that the stock of tests for coronavirus in Uzbekistan is more than 200,000. According to the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development, it is planned to produce 50,000 tests locally by the end of April.
As of April 6, 88,695 people were reported to be in quarantine in Uzbekistan, of which more than 67,000 were under quarantine at home and more than 21,000 were in stationary facilities in various regions of the country.
