38 more people test positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan

The number of infected with the new coronavirus in Uzbekistan has increased by another 38 people, reaching 934.

“As of April 13, 2020, 6:00 p.m., the number of coronavirus infection cases stands at 934,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

So far, 85 patients have fully recovered from the disease and discharged from the hospital, four people died.

Earlier it was reported that starting from today, April 13, the movement of citizens and traffic has been restricted in Namangan.

“From 06:00 of April 13, 2020, in the city of Namangan, Uchkurgan district, as well as in the area of the Kayki village, the movement of vehicles and the movement of citizens is completely limited. This restriction was adopted by the Special Regional Commission to prepare a set of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection”, the regional khokimiyat said.

It is noted that in this period, citizens, as an exception, are allowed to go to food stores and pharmacies within a radius of 100 meters from their place of residence once a day.
