Another 47 people test positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 has increased by 47 and reached 1,349.
"As of 10:00 a.m., April 16, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 1,349," the ministry said in a statement.
To date, 107 people have fully recovered from the disease and were sent to a rehabilitation center, 4 people died.
It should be reminded that Uzbekistan has introduced a quarantine regime throughout the country until April 20. However, Deputy PM Jamshid Kuchkarov said that it can be extended and continue in May too.
