Coronavirus cases reach 1,582 in Uzbekistan

According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has reached 1,582.

“As of 14:30, April 20, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 1,582,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

Earlier the Special Republican Commission to combat the spread of coronavirus infection stated that private medical institutions can conduct tests for coronavirus.

Testing can only be carried out on the basis of an agreement signed by the heads of regional centers for sanitary and epidemiological surveillance in compliance with all quarantine requirements.
