Coronavirus: Death toll reaches 6 in Uzbekistan
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, a 73-year-old man died of coronavirus infection in the Namangan region.
The man was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Namangan regional infectious diseases hospital on April 14 with a diagnosis of coronary heart disease, second-degree hypertension, atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis, bilateral pneumonia, and acute respiratory failure.
The test results showed the presence of coronavirus infection in the patient.
“However, despite the resuscitation procedures performed by cardiologists, virologists, pulmonologists and therapists in accordance with established standards, the patient died of cardiovascular failure,” the report said.
