Uzbekistan to introduce restrictions on the export of raw materials for producing medical products
Uzbekistan will introduce temporary restrictions on the export of raw materials for the production of medical products and the import of cement products.
As the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told Kun.uz, this is stated in the relevant government decree.
According to the document, from May 1 to December 31, 2020, Uzbekistan imposes temporary restrictions on the export of raw materials for the production of medical products and the import of cement products during the coronavirus pandemic.
This decision was made in connection with a drop in demand for cement and as a result of stopping work at many construction sites of the republic in the context of the global spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as in order to support domestic producers.
In turn, a temporary restriction on the export of raw materials for the production of medical products is introduced to stably meet the needs of the domestic market.
