The number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has increased by another 20, reaching 1,778.
"As of 10:00 a.m., April 24, the number of infection cases in the country stands at 1,778," the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
So far, 563 people have fully recovered from the disease and were sent to rehabilitation centers at places, 7 people died.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan had earlier extended the quarantine period until May 10. People are asked to stay at home and comply with the requirements of self-isolation regime.
