Measures will be taken to introduce a single e-ticketing system in Uzbekistan.
The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to introduce a single electronic ticketing system in the Republic of Uzbekistan” has been published for discussion.
The following proposals submitted by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport and the State Committee for Tourism Development will be approved:
a) creation of a single electronic ticketing portal (SETP);
b) approval of an action plan for the establishment of a single e-ticketing portal and the creation of a national system of passenger transportation services;
c) establishment of a single operator of SETP in the form of a limited liability company.
It was noted that the Fund for Development of Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture and the Single Republican Processing Center LLC are the founders of the Operator and participate in the charter capital with shares of 49% and 51%, respectively.
