Coronavirus cases reach 2,231 in Uzbekistan
The number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus infectikon in Uzbekistan has reached 2,231, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
“As of 17:00 a.m., May 6, the number of total coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,231,” the report said.
So far, 1,556 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection and were sent to rehabilitation centers at places, 10 people died.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan has eased some quarantine restrictions in most of the regions. However, lockdown measures remain in force in Samarkand and Namangan.
