According to the Ministry of Health, 29 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection, bringing the total number to 2,298.
“As of 23:00, May 7, the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,298,” the ministry said in a statement.
So far, 1,656 patients have fully recovered from the disease, 10 people died.
It was previously reported that starting from May 8 districts and cities will be classified as “red”, “yellow” and “green” – depending on the epidemiological situation there.
Regions classified as “red”: Karakalpakstan, Andijan, Namangan, Fergana, Samarkand, Bukhara, Syrdarya and Tashkent region.
Regions classified as “yellow”: Surkhandarya, Khorezm and the city of Tashkent.
Regions classified as “green”: Navoi, Jizzakh and Kashkadarya.
In the regions classified as “green”, movement of vehicles without a special sticker is allowed. In the “red” and “yellow” areas, it is permitted only at certain times of the day – from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.
