The Ministry of Health reports that 13 more people in Uzbekistan have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection.
“As of 16:00, May 9, 2020, the number of registered coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,349,” the ministry said.
In recent weeks, the number of people recovering from the disease has exceeded the number of new cases.
On May 8, 27 new infection cases were reported and 119 patients were cured - the highest figure observed so far among the recovered.
To date, 1,803 people have recovered, 10 patients died.
