US dollar on the rise against the soum
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has established new exchange rates of foreign currencies against the soum, which is effective from May 12 this year.
According to the Central Bank, starting from tomorrow, the exchange rate of the US dollar goes up by 7.81 soums, amounting to 10,137.20 soums.
The Euro, in the meantime, drops by 136.39 soums, being valued at 10,988.72 soums.
The Russian ruble shows a slight increase - by 3.46 soums, 1 ruble becomes equal to 138.26 soums.
It should be noted that the Central Bank does not take any obligation to purchase or sell foreign currencies at the rates set.
