Coronavirus cases reach 2,509 in Uzbekistan
The number of people diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has reached 2,509, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
“As of 10:00 a.m., May 12, the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,509,” the statement reads.
So far, 1,988 patients have fully recovered from the disease, 10 people died.
It should be noted that in the last couple of days Uzbekistan has brought back hundreds of its citizens from abroad, including from Dubai and Delhi. More charter flights are expected to be organized for citizens left stranded in Russia and other countries.
