According to the Ministry of Health, 11 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 2,802.
“As of 10:00 a.m., May 19, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,802,” the ministry said in a statement.
Of the new cases, 10 were detected in citizens who came from abroad (7 of them came from Russia and 3 were international truck drivers) and 1 was a patient quarantined earlier at a medical facility.
So far, 2,314 people have fully recovered from the disease, 13 patients died. Currently, 475 people are undergoing treatment.
