Criminal group steals around 10 tons of fertilizer from a warehouse in Jizzakh region
A group of people stole nearly 10 tons of fertilizer from a warehouse in the Pakhtakor district, Jizzakh region, breaking the back wall. The press service of the Investigation Department reported.
On May 15, officials of the Jizzakhagrokimyokhimoya JSC contacted the district police department and stated that from May 6 to May 14, unidentified persons illegally entered the warehouse by breaking the back wall, from where they stole Ammophos fertilizers.
During the preliminary investigation, it was found that unidentified persons stole 9.9 tons of mineral fertilizers worth 55.4 million soums.
On this fact, the Investigation Department under the Pakhtakor district DIA opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code.
In the course of the preliminary investigation, it was established that this crime was committed by 9 residents of the Pakhtakor district, who at night entered the territory of the Jizzakhagrokimyokhimoya JSC and made a breach in the warehouse’s brick wall.
They managed to carry away the stolen goods in two cars, which were waiting outside the enterprise, after which the stolen fertilizers were sold to farmers in the Gallaorol district (Jizzakh region) and Bulungur district (Samarkand region).
Packed mineral fertilizers and empty bags were seized from the vehicles as material evidence.
