25 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 2,880, the Ministry of Health reported.
“As of 10:00 a.m., May 20, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,880,” the ministry said in a statement.
Of the confirmed new cases, 5 were identified in citizens who were in quarantine facilities, 20 - in citizens who came from abroad on special charter flights.
“So far, 2,338 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection, 13 patients died. Currently, 529 people are undergoing treatment, condition of 6 is critical,” the ministry said.
