Coronavirus cases reach 2,927 in Uzbekistan
47 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 2,927, the Ministry of Health reported.
“As of 16:30, May 20, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 2,927,” the ministry said in a statement.
Of the confirmed new cases, 28 were identified in citizens who were in quarantine facilities, 19 - in citizens who came from abroad (15 from Kazan, 4 from St. Petersburg) on special charter flights.
“So far, 2,366 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection, 13 patients died. Currently, 548 people are undergoing treatment,” the ministry said.
