Uzbekistan cancels final exams at schools
Final exams at schools have been canceled. This was announced by the Minister of Public Education Sherzod Shermatov in his Telegram channel.
“In order to fulfill the instructions of the President to create favorable conditions for the population during quarantine, and also taking into account the numerous appeals of parents to the MPE, it was decided to cancel the final exams in the current academic year,” the statement said.
Schools are recommended to set annual grades based on the grades for the previous three quarters. At the same time, in schools where the kundalik.com system has been successfully implemented, it is recommended to take into account only positive grades for the fourth quarter as an incentive for the efforts of students during the quarantine period.
“We express our gratitude to all the parents who supported their children in organizing the educational process at home through the “online school” program,” Sherzod Shermatov said.
