Winter break for students to begin on December 25

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan has announced that winter break for students across the country will begin on December 25, 2024, and continue through January 7, 2025, inclusive of the final day.

This decision was formalized through a ministerial directive aimed at implementing the tasks outlined in a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The break applies to students of higher education institutions, technical schools, colleges, vocational schools, and academic lyceums. 

The ministry emphasized that the schedule is intended to provide a uniform break period for all educational institutions.
