Coronavirus cases reach 3,261 in Uzbekistan
According to the Ministry of Health, 46 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 3,261.
“As of 10:00 a.m., May 26, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 3,261,” the ministry said in a statement.
Of the confirmed new cases, 44 were detected in citizens who came from Russian through Kazakhstan. The other two were long-distance truck drivers. They have all been quarantined.
On May 25, 51 new cases were identified and 42 patients recovered from the disease. The total number of recovered has reached 2,607.
At present, 641 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals in 7 regions of the country.
