Coronavirus cases reach 3,281 in Uzbekistan
According to the Ministry of Health, 20 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 3,281.
“As of 17:00, May 26, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 3,281,” the ministry said in a statement.
So far, 2,624 patients have fully recovered from the disease, 13 people died. Currently, 644 people are undergoing treatment.
It was earlier reported that the Urgut district of the Samarkand region has been closed for traffic and marked as a “red” zone, as new cases of infection were detected there among the general public.
