According to the Ministry of Health, 20 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 3,488.
“As of 23:00, May 29, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 3,488,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that four of the cases were detected among the general public in the Samarkand region.
So far, 2,728 people have fully recovered from the disease, 14 people died.
At present, 746 patients are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
