Uzbekistan appoints new ambassador to Kyrgyzstan
Khurshid Mirzahidov has been appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan.
“On May 30, 2020, the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, Khurshid Mirzahidov, arrived in Bishkek,” the MFA press service said.
Khurshid Mirzahidov was born in 1971 in Tashkent. In 1995, he graduated from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communication.
He was once Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications.
He also served as Chairman of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan and Deputy Chairman of the Road Committee under the Ministry of Transport.
