Coronavirus cases reach 3,987 in Uzbekistan
According to the Ministry of Health, 22 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 3,987.
“As of 17:00, June 5, the number of coronavirus infection cases in the country stands at 3,987,” the ministry said in a statement.
New cases were registered in the city of Tashkent (15), Syrdarya region (2), Namangan region (1) and Tashkent region (2). Another two cases were recorded among patients undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
So far, 3,227 people have fully recovered from the disease, 16 people died.
At present, 744 patients are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
