Drunken hunter accidentally injures 20-year-old girl in Kashkadarya

As the “Kashkadarya News” reports with reference to the press service of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, on June 6, the resident of the Yakkabag district together with friends went to the artificial lake of the local fish farm.

Armed with a pneumatic rifle, they hunted wild ducks.

After consuming alcohol, one of the hunters lost interest in hunting. He started watching a stranger girl through the scope of the rifle and accidentally pulled the trigger.

The doctors determined that the bullet hit the chest through the right shoulder, penetrated the upper right lung and reached the pericardium, the external connective tissue of the heart. Through a complex surgical procedure, the paramedics were able to find and remove the bullet.

The life of the girl was saved by highly qualified doctors Olim Shomurodov, Sherbek Yakhshibov and Ural Shaminov, the press service of the regional health department informs.

Criminal charges have been filed against the hunter by the Investigation Department of the Yakkabag District Internal Affairs Department.
