Coronavirus: 32 new cases registered in Uzbekistan, another death case recorded
According to the Ministry of Health, 32 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 4,623.
“As of 23:00, June 10, the number of infection cases stands at 4,623 (+32),” the ministry’s statement reads.
23 cases were detected in people who were placed in quarantine, 9 – among the general public.
It is also noted that a man, who arrived in Uzbekistan from St. Petersburg on a special charter flight on May 27 and placed in quarantine, died from acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, being the 19th coronavirus victim in the republic.
“He had been treated for many years for such diseases as acute leukemia, severe chronic anemia and respiratory failure,” the ministry informed.
So far, 3,532 people have fully recovered from the disease, 19 people died.
Currently, 1,072 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities.
