Institute of Economics and Construction will be established in Andijan.
The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the establishment of the Andijan Institute of Economics and Construction” has been announced.
In accordance with the proposal of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the Ministry of Construction and the Andijan regional administration, a new university will be established in Andijan.
The following are the main specializations of the institute:
- training of competitive specialists, scientific-pedagogical personnel, as well as public professionals in the field of economics and construction, taking into account the prospects and priorities of the economic development, construction and industries in the region; retraining and professional development;
- organization of educational and scientific laboratory rooms, equipping them on the basis of modern technologies and implementation of educational-scientific projects;
- development of qualification requirements, curricula and science programs, improvement and implementation of educational and scientific-methodological support on the basis of best practices of leading and prestigious foreign higher education institutions;
- in order to ensure that the theoretical training in the educational process is inextricably linked with practice, together with organizations in the field of economics and construction, internships in relevant organizations will be organized for students;
- development of cooperation with leading national and foreign higher education institutions and research centers in order to attract qualified specialists to the process of education and research;
- solving scientific and methodological tasks of economic and construction development, conducting research aimed at introducing advanced foreign pedagogical technologies and the wide involvement of talented students in scientific activities;
- increasing the scientific and pedagogical potential of the Institute by regularly sending promising young graduates to master’s and doctoral programs in national and foreign higher education institutions and research centers.
As noted:
- The university is a state higher education institution with the status of a legal entity, also has a seal and forms with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its name in the state language, independent balance and personal budget as well as bank accounts;
- The university operates under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Uzbekistan;
- Educational activities at the institute will begin in the 2020/2021 academic year;
- Admission to the Institute for the 2020/2021 academic year in the form of full-time education is approved in accordance with the annex;
- Admission of students to the university is determined on the basis of the state order and tuition fee payment, based on the parameters of admission to higher educational institutions of the republic, which are approved annually.
