Coronavirus: New cases registered in Tashkent among the general public
30 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 5,293, the Ministry of Health reported.
“As of 10:00 a.m., June 16, the number of infection cases stands at 5,293 (+30),” the ministry’s statement reads.
Of the total new cases, 9 were detected in citizens undergoing treatment at the quarantine center, 19 in Tashkent (4 of them from among the general public) and 2 in the Tashkent region.
So far, 4,019 people have fully recovered from the disease, 19 people died.
Currently, 1,255 people are undergoing treatment at medical facilities. 14 of them are in serious condition, the condition of 2 is critical.
